THC Crew appeared in the middle of 1996 with members: Jankiel (drums), Supron (solo guitar), Zielina (bas), Strilu (keyboard, flut), Hanys (vocal & guitar). With the end of the year Hanys left the band and his place was taken by Rudecat (vocal & text). In the original establishment band wanted use the power of natural instruments in combination with recitation to the music.
Sometimes happend cooperation with Scrobi (turntables) and Kujawka (rhymes) from Bractwo Rymu (BIG RESPECT FOR RUDEBOYS KONIN), but the members never thought about themselves as a stricte hip hop band. They could not be becouse of the different music influences. Supron & Jankiel used to play in death-metal band, Zielina in punkband Desputacja, Strilu took a part in few of altrnative projects, and Rudecat in 1992 was a member of rockband THE TOWER and dj in reggaedisco The HERB family.
The pictures are taken from rehearsal and first concert in Mlodziezowy Dom Kultury in Konin, where they have started. Next came other performances: Dom Kultury in Turek, Obora Palace (of course), in the Strilu's house, and "on the wing monument" where the young people used to hang out. Without commercial succes (they had offer from EMI & Island Records), band remain still freaky, incited to be against the law.
But in general members was claiming: ONE LOVE!!!
